Technology reviews & practical guides
Vidyo.ai now redirects to quso.ai. We explain the rebrand, what carried over, the current credit-based plans from $0 to $49 a month, and where the AI clipping falls short.

If you type vidyo.ai into a browser today, you land on quso.ai. There is no banner on the old domain explaining why, which is why a lot of people ask whether the tool shut down or whether the redirect is a scam. It is neither: vidyo.ai answers with a permanent 301 redirect to quso.ai, and the company rebranded to the new name in 2024.
This review covers what changed with the rebrand, what did not, and whether the product itself - an AI tool that turns long videos into short, captioned clips - is worth paying for in 2026. All prices are the vendor's published monthly USD list prices as of September 24, 2026.
Vidyo.ai is now quso.ai. The old domain returns HTTP 301 Moved Permanently to https://quso.ai/, which we confirmed with a direct request rather than relying on third-party reports. A 301 is the standard signal that a site has moved for good, not a hijacked or temporary redirect.
The part existing users care about is spelled out on the quso.ai pricing page, verbatim: "Coming from Vidyo.ai? Your plan and pricing are unchanged." Accounts, plans and prices carried over. If you were paying for vidyo.ai, you are now paying the same amount for quso.ai.

vidyo.ai is not dead and the redirect is legitimate. Log in at quso.ai with your existing account; your plan and price are unchanged.
The core job has not changed. You give it a long video - a podcast, webinar, livestream or interview - and it finds the moments most likely to work as short clips, then prepares them for social platforms.

The company says it serves 4 million creators and businesses, with users in areas as varied as psychology, entertainment, auto reviews, fitness, news and real estate. Treat that as a vendor claim, but it matches the tool's pitch: anyone who talks on camera for long stretches and wants short-form output without editing it by hand.
You can pull source video from YouTube, Vimeo, X, Facebook, Twitch, Rumble, Loom, LinkedIn, Zoom, Google Drive and Dropbox, or upload a file directly. For podcasters and webinar hosts who already record in Zoom or stream on Twitch, that removes the download-then-upload step.
On the output side, paid plans can publish or schedule clips directly. The pricing page describes this as publishing to 6 platforms, while the homepage names TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, X and YouTube. The free plan only publishes to TikTok.

quso.ai uses credits on top of a monthly plan. Annual billing lowers the monthly price and doubles the credit allowance.

The free plan is fine for testing clip quality, but the watermark, 720p cap and 7-day retention rule it out for regular publishing. Essential is the realistic starting point for podcasters, because filler and silence removal saves the most manual work.
Independent reviewers agree on a few weak spots, and they match what you would expect from this category of tool.

quso.ai suits creators and small teams who produce long talking-head content regularly and want a steady stream of short clips with minimal editing: podcasters, webinar hosts, coaches, streamers and educators. The import list and direct scheduling are the real time savers.
It is a weaker fit if you need polished, heavily edited output, if your audio is noisy or heavily accented and you cannot spare time to fix captions, or if you want to generate ads from scratch without footage.

From $0 to $49 a month on published plans. Lite is $29 monthly or $19 annually, Essential is $39 or $26, and Growth is $49 or $33. Enterprise is quote-only.
75 credits a month, 720p export with a watermark, 7-day data retention and TikTok-only publishing. It is enough to judge clip quality, not to run a channel.
On the free plan, 7 days. Paid plans come with storage instead: 10GB on Lite, 25GB on Essential and 75GB on Growth.
No. It repurposes existing recordings. It cannot create clips from a product URL or a text prompt.
